Hugos by Modesto

Hugos by Modesto is a fine dining restaurant. It strives to bring the best of local and international cuisine with each dish creatively decorated. All the food here tasted delicious and my family loves dining here. The full height windows allows natural lighting during the day and diners can get a great view. At night, the lightings in the restaurant makes it so cozy and comfortable giving great ambience.

The restaurant and bar seating capacity is 200 persons. There is ample basement parking space. They take reservations, walk-ins, catering and waiter services.

We started our dinner with the Western starter, Nicoise Salad and Calamari Fritti which was really tasty. This was followed by the local starter, soup, pasta, pizza, main dish, side dish and dessert.

Nicoise Salad - Tuna, potatoes, tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, Kalamata olives, red onion and crunchy French beans (RM32.00)

Calamari Fritti was crispy and delicious. The squid was fresh and deep fried with Hugos by Modesto batter. (RM 30.00)

Chicken and beef satay meat was tender and juicy. (1/2 dozen for RM 15.00 and 1 dozen for RM 30.00) 

Vegetarian Spring Roll served with authentic Thai chilli sauce was crispy and fried to perfection. It was really delicious. (RM 18.00)

Crema Di Funghi is the Cream of Fresh Forest Mushrooms. It was thick with lots of mushrooms.  (RM 18.00) 

Linguine Alla Modesto - Signature. There was a generous serving of seafood with tasty seafood sauce. The seafood was very fresh. (RM 52.00 for 1 person serving and RM 90.00 for 2 persons serving)

Hawaiana pizza - Tomatoes, mozzarella, turkey ham, pineapples and onions. This was a thin crust pizza, crunchy and tasty. My son loved this very much. (RM 36.00)

Fish and Chips - Deep Fried Battered Red Snapper Fillet served with French Fries, Tartar sauce and Lemon Wedges. The fried fish was very tasty and crispy. (RM 34.00)

Premier Burger - Grilled Beef Patty, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles served served on Sesame Seed Buns. The beef patty was juicy and delicious. One of the best burgers I have tried. (RM 32.00)

This side dish is Potato Wedges and Mashed Potato. Each side dish is RM 12.00. The mashed potato was soft and very tasty. 

 Tortino Al Cioccolato - Rich Chocolate Brownies served with Vanilla Ice Cream. Very delicious. Brownie was moist and soft. (RM 22.00). 

My favourite dessert was Panna Cotta - Italian Milk Pudding which was sweet and very nice. It was very smooth and the taste was unique. I love the decoration too. (RM 20.00)

Mojito - White Rum, Brown Sugar, Mint Leaves and Soda (RM 26.00)
