Special Homecare Origin (SHO) Red Ginseng Ampoule And Mask Review

As a mother of two children who is always busy with household chores, sending children to school and attending events, I have very little personal 'Me Time' to pamper myself. I know many working moms who are also very stressed out with work and responsibilities at home. All women wish they could look young, radiant and beautiful but when age catches up, women need to pamper themselves with good quality products to reduce fine wrinkles and still look great. Women these days prefer to save time by pampering themselves with home treatment products where they can easily do it at their own convenience at home. For the past three weeks, I tried the Special Homecare Origin (SHO) Red Ginseng Ampoule and SHO Red Ginseng Masks which came in cute tube packagings. I was satisfied with the outcome of the results. I used to have dull looking skin but now my skin looks more radiant and glowing.

SHO Red Ginseng Ampoule (50ml for RM 189.00)

SHO is a Korean skin care brand that combines beauty treatment and science. SHO products offers a range of fine ingredients and high quality skin care products for women to do treatment at the comfort of their own home. Ampoules are considered better then serums because ampoules are more concentrated with a higher number of active ingredients, 3 times more effective than serums in absorbing into skin and provides long lasting effects. These products are free from harmful ingredients such as Triethanolamine, Benzophenone, Mineral Oil, Sulfate, Paraben and Acrylamide, so they are safe even for pregnant women. Glad to know about this because I don't want to put something harmful on my face.

SHO Red Ginseng ampoule contains 42% red ginseng extract for healthy and glowing skin, and camellia oil for moisturizing effect. Paeonia Suffruticosa Root extract and Polygonum Multiflorum Root extract will lessen rough and flaky skin. Trehalose is effective in soothing and moisturizing.

Directions
Use SHO Red Ginseng ampoule after cleansing and after toner. Spread a moderate amount and rub it all over the face to let it absorb into skin.

I love the strong ginseng smell when I applied it on my face. The texture is a little thicker and not watery. I like that it is not sticky, not oily and really moisturizes my face. I felt my skin firmer and more radiant after using this ampoule. It really works well on my skin. Do try it if you are looking for an effective ampoule.

It is good to use the ampoule followed by the SHO Red Ginseng mask for better result.

There are 7 x 27 ml  SHO Red Ginseng masks in 1 tube for RM 159.00

The SHO Red Ginseng masks contains oriental medicine ingredients such as Red Ginseng, Mulberry Root, Licorice and Pleuropterus Multiflorus for firmer and glowing skin. It also has Camellia oil to help maintain a healthy balance of oil and water. Protulaca extract helps tired skin to be healthy while Trehalose moisturizes and soothens the skin. With all these medicinal ingredients, this mask can revitalise skin and make skin firmer and more radiant. It is definitely something I need for anti-aging.

Directions
After cleansing face and using toner, place the mask on the face. Leave it for about 15-20 minutes, peel it off and tap remaining essence gently onto face to let it be absorbed.

I like that the SHO Red Ginseng mask sheet is soaked with lots of essence and that it is strong and doesn't tear easily. It fits my face and really moisturizes my face after the first usage. I can feel my face firmer and more hydrated after using this mask. This is a treatment mask which is different from normal daily mask and it is clinically proven that oil level decreases by 60% and moisture level increases by 46% after 1 time usage.

I would recommend these products to everyone I know. You can purchase SHO products from SHO FACEBOOKINSTAGRAM and selected Sasa stores in Malaysia. Get yours and try them out.

Every night after sunset from 28 th September till 31 st October, thrill-seekers will brave through the countless horrors that await them in Sunway Lagoon Nights of Fright 6 (NOF6), Malaysia’s biggest and scariest festival!

Centre (L-R): Sean Choo, General Manager of Sunway Lagoon, and Lynton V. Harris, Chairman & CEO of The Sudden Impact! Entertainment Company at the launch of Sunway Lagoon’s Nights of Fright 6!

Step into WENDIGO – THE LEGEND IN THE MIST, to discover the place of myths and monsters. In folklore tales, Wendigo appears as an evil cannibal-like spirit that devours mankind. Wendigo are said to have an insatiable hunger for human flesh – no matter how much they eat, they remain hungry. They are hungry for you.

Further heighten the chill in your bones at SLAUGHTERHOUSE 13 by visiting Chan’s slaughterhouse and meat-packing plant which has long been closed down and abandoned after a worker, Lee Lee Choong discovered a not so beefy body hanging on the hooks inside the freezer of Slaughterhouse 13. Was it the long banished son, Calvin Chan who had mysteriously disappeared months earlier after a falling out with his father?

Can you survive the apocalypse when you enter ZOMBIE ZOO? Something has gotten into the animals and keepers at our underground zoo set deep inside the mountain. They are now out of control. Zombie mayhem within humans and animals are eager to terrorize the guests as they set foot upon this horrifying zoo.

Like nothing more than being scared out of your wits? Head down to the SCARYTALES THEATER for some hair-raising horror stories. Sitting around inside a dimly lit house, or in the woods sitting around in a circle, watching and listening to the storytellers cast their spell through a frightening tale. Sit quietly and listen to the stories of Pontianak’s, Toyols and Pocongs, to the sounds that surround you, for they will stay with you, long into the night.

It is Halloween in New York! Who ya gonna call! The GHOSTBUSTERS have some new ghosts to bust as New York is lit with the jack-o-lanterns. Come visit the HORRORWOOD STUDIOS WAX MUSEUM OF MONSTERS to meet the scariest movie characters of all time.

This is no ordinary night at the museum! Join Jason, Freddy, Billy, and Michael Myers as you make your way through this celebration of celluloid horror characters. Face your fear by looking into the GHOST FACE – THE FACE TO MAKE YOU SCREAM IN UV3D. Surrounded by a thousand faces, your worst nightmare comes to life again and again in this house of fear!

Face the curse of the witches when rituals go wrong. Experience it first-hand as you enter at JAMPI where you get to meet the Salem Witch, Malay Dukun, Indian Witch, and Chinese Witch while they chant mantras and perform rituals. For those who seek for twisted pleasures of pain, enter the ENCLAVE OF TORTURE where we give you the closest representation of brutal mutilation.

“In this installment of Nights of Fright, our team has worked tirelessly to meet the expectations of our faithful patrons. In reciprocation of their unwavering support over the years, we have further personalized our attractions by targeting specific fears that are common among people. Through Nights of Fright 6, you may find out a little more about your family and friends, in the form of phobias they’ve never revealed, while getting a good scare yourself!” said Sean Choo, General Manager of Sunway Lagoon.

Lynton V. Harris, Chairman & CEO of The Sudden Impact! Entertainment Company further expounded, “This year’s attractions have largely been inspired from Western horror stories with a ‘splatter’ of traditional Asian folklore and real occurrences. In order to ensure people keep coming back to the most anticipated event of the year, we at Sudden Impact! Entertainment have upped the ante and cannot wait to unveil this year’s Nights of Fright to the public on the 28 th of September!”

Relaxing And Educational Trip Releasing Turtle Hatchlings At Resorts World Kijal, Terengganu

My children and I had a fun, relaxing and educational trip to Resorts World Kijal, Terengganu last weekend. We left Kuala Lumpur by bus and it took about 5 hours including breakfast break at the rest area. When we reached Resorts World Kijal, we were greeted warmly by the friendly hotel staffs. They gave us wet towels, welcome drinks and a very entertaining traditional dance at the spacious and beautiful hotel lobby.

Welcome drinks given to hotel guests as soon as we arrived.

A traditional welcome dance by students at the spacious and beautiful hotel lobby.

Friendly hotel staffs gave us our room keys.

When we entered our hotel room, we were very happy to see that the room was very clean and it was facing the beautiful pool and sea view. Everything we needed like the television, safety box, toiletries, slippers, iron, hair dryer, complimentary drinks, coffee, refrigerator were all provided in the room. Yes, we were very happy and excited!

There's a window where you can open it to watch tv when you soak yourself in the bath tub.

The beautiful pool and sea view from our hotel room.

We had lunch at 'Restoran Kampong Meraga Beris' which was on the same floor as the hotel lobby. The buffet spread was very delicious with a variety of food to choose from. My daughter loved the 'gulai sotong' very much.

Resorts World Kijal's beach is one of the most beautiful beaches and it's private beach is about 7.6 km long. Regular cleanings are done to ensure the beach is safe for both turtle landings and guest activities and the resort is also working with the Terengganu Department of Fisheries to seek official protection for its beach and to certify its guest turtle conservation programme.

We played telematch activities here for some ice breaking sessions. It was very fun and we enjoyed it very much.

Turtle watching in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia is from April to September every year, mainly the common Green Turtle (Chelonia Mydas) and the occasional rare Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelys Imbricate) are seen. The turtle eggs will be incubating in the sand for about 3 months before the hatchlings emerge during a full moon and speed their way to the sea. After many years the female turtles return by instinct to the very area they were hatched and completes the cycle of life. Resorts World Kijal staffs will be waiting to welcome them back.

When my children and I were there, we were not lucky enough to see turtles lay eggs but we were happy to be able to plant turtle eggs and release baby turtles to the sea. The night-time turtle watching (RM70 per person) is held at the resort or at the Turtle Sanctuary Ma Daerah Kerteh or Pantai Teluk Mak Nik Kuala Kemaman, transportation included. Turtle hatchlings release or egg planting sessions is RM49 per person.

Turtle eggs need to be planted the exact way it was laid, meaning that we cannot tilt the eggs because the turtles will die. Turtle eggs that are nearer to the surface of the sand will be female because they are hotter. Eggs that are in deeper sand will be male turtles because they are colder. Releasing the hatchlings was both happy and sad experience because out of 1000 baby turtles released, only 1 or 2 can survive. These turtles would be swimming on the surface of the sea for 1 week before they swim deeper into the sea. When they are at the surface of the sea, bigger fish or birds can eat them easily. Once they are bigger, they can hide near corals to avoid danger. Please do not eat turtle eggs and keep beaches clean to help save turtles. I also learnt that sea turtles like to eat jelly fish. Wow, I really learnt a lot of new things during my trip here. It was a very fun and educational trip especially for children.

Here's a video of the turtle eggs planting and release of the hatchlings to the sea.

Resorts World Kijal also organized coconut tree planting for their guests. I planted a coconut tree when I was there.

Besides these activities, there are many other things guests can do at Resorts World Kijal. Guests can play at the 18 hole golf course, swim at the pool, soak in the jacuzzi, exercise at the gym, hop on a bicycle, play at the giant Snake & Ladders and lots more.

 Giant Snake & Ladder game

Having BBQ dinner at Oasis Beach Bistro was a wonderful experience for my children and I. We could dine by the beach, see the beautiful sunset, feel the breeze blowing onto us, listen to live music and just relax and enjoy delicious food. It was truly a memorable night as we were given lanterns and mooncakes to celebrate mid-autumn festival.

We enjoyed all the activities organized there especially the release of sea turtle hatchlings to the sea. Come here for a fun-filled family vacation and enjoy all the activities that Resorts World Kijal offers.

Room rates at Resorts World Kijal start from RM410 per night. The resort also offers a number of stay packages, including the 3D2N Sea Turtle Package (RM682 per night in a Premier Seaview room, including a buffet breakfast for two at Restoran Kampong and a choice of turtle hatchling release or egg planting) and the 2D1N Golf Package (RM426 per night in a Premier Seaview room, including a buffet breakfast for two at Restoran Kampong and golfing session for 2 pax, including insurance).

Maximum 15 students per class. There are 6 staffs and in case a teacher is absent, there will be replacement teachers.

IMIKI has 4 teaching methods which are :

1) Morale Teaching - teach self confidence, respect and care which is very important.

2) Fun Teaching - children learn through fun activities

3) Memory Skills - children learn through observation, visualization and imagination. Flash cards are used and each student gets their own set of flash cards.

A good example of memory teaching is this picture below where the pencil, tree, ruler and river are drawn in pictures and all are related to the word 'batang' in Malay.

Children can remember better when there are pictures and drawings with colors.

4) Theme Teaching - for children to learn by using their 5 senses (seeing, touching, smelling, tasting and hearing). For example, children get to taste green apples and red apples. They will know that green apples taste sour and red apples are usually sweeter.
