Toyota Malaysia Grand Prize Winner for Toyota Amazing Trails of Food Snappers

In May, I was very surprised to receive a call from Toyota saying that I am the Grand Prize winner for the Toyota Food Snappers Contest! I won RM 3000 cash and a Panasonic Lumix GM camera worth more than Rm2000. This contest was about snapping a photo of the type of food in each category for each week and get votes. The categories were main meal, dessert, cup cake decoration, latte art, Sushi art and chocolate art. The photo that fetched the most like at the end of the contest wins the Grand Prize. There were 3 weekly winners and 1 top voter prize for each week. The 1st prize is Rm500 cash + Panasonic Powerbank, 2nd prize is Rm200 Parkson voucher, 3rd prize is Rm100 Petrol gift card. This contest is different from the other voting contest as everyone else would not know who posted the photos. There would be 2 photos for you to choose the one you like more. Then another 2 photos appear for you to vote until all the photos were shown. Below are some photos from the contest.

Supersquad movie

Movie Fun time

My friend, Jane Chua told me about this invitation by Bro Framestone to watch a Malay animation movie, Supersquad. I thought it would be fun, so I registered for it. On 17/5/14, I brought my daughter to watch the movie. We were a little late because I had to wait for my husband to return from work to take care of my baby. Anyway, we still enjoyed the movie very much. The story was about 5 friends (Laksamana Aaron, Kapten Danny, Blinq, Alan and Sasha) who fought the insect aliens and avoided them from conquering the earth. The story was very interesting, funny because there were lots of jokes, very colourful and it was action packed all the way. Here are some photos related to the event.

This movie would be out in the cinemas on the 5th June 2014. The director of the film is Mohd. Rashdan Ramlee and the company which made this a success is Netcarbon Sdn. Bhd. It took them2 years to complete and up to RM 6 million.

My daughter and I had fun and we are looking forward to more movies like this in future. This movie teaches us to unite, be strong and help one another.

School Holidays Fun Time

School Holidays

My daughter loves school holidays because she knows I usually take her somewhere fun. In March 2014, my husband & I brought my kids to Farm In The City. It is a great place for kids to learn about animals. Kids are allowed to pet most of the animals there. Watching the bird show was quite fun too. Even though the place is not that big, there are many different types of animals to see, feed & pet. Below are some photos from the trip. All of us had lots of fun. My daughter loved the pony ride the most.

We will certainly go there again since it's such a good place for kids to learn & have fun at the same time.
