Parenting & Health Talk At Dreamworld Starling Mall

Last Saturday many parents and children were invited by 100 Comments and BabyTalk Malaysia for an event at Dreamworld Starling Mall. This was a great place to have the talk because when parents listened to the the parenting & health talk, children could play at the same time. The talk conducted by Tokio Marine, UCMHP and Vision Space Optometrist was very informative and educational.

Mr. Wai Kian from UCMHP

The first talk was by Mr. Wai Kian, UCMHP Certified Master Analyst who talked about the advantages of knowing your number through your birth date. UCMHP stands for Universal Characteristic Method Human Profiling, founded by Dr. Bernard Yeo is very important for parents to connect with their children when they discover the hidden potentials and talents of their children. Parents can also know their strength and correct their weakness for children to establish their career and goals early in life. This method is scientifically proven and started in Singapore. There is no religion, superstition, guess work or element of self bias involved.

It seems unbelievable but it is very true. From the talk, parents learnt to calculate their universal character number by adding their birth date and year to get a single digit number. Each number represents the characteristic of that particular individual. I was very lucky to win their book 'Know Your Numbers, Know Yourself Chart Your Destiny' book by Dr. Bernard Yeo through the lucky draw. I am really interested to know about my family's characteristics so that I can connect better with them. Thanks for this interesting book.

The second speaker was from Tokio Marine insurance company and she talked about ILady Insurance, a 2-in-1 insurance plan especially designed for the ladies. This insurance covers women before & after pregnancy and after their baby is born, her baby will get free insurance coverage for the 1st year automatically. The speaker stressed the importance of having an insurance policy and medical card these days when medical bill at private hospitals are very high.

Vision Space Optometrist speaker talked about eye care and the importance of 20 20 20 which means for every 20 minutes of computer work or looking at your mobile phone, you need to look far for 20 seconds. This is to rest our eyes so that shortsightedness and other eye problems will not deteriorate. Parents need to control their children's usage of electronic gadgets to avoid children from using these for long hours which could be harmful to their health.
