The BAR°N Wine Bar Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

The BAR°N Wine Bar Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is the perfect place to meet up with friends and family to wine and dine. As you enter, you will see different selections of wines bottles neatly arranged. The BAR°N Wine Bar offers old and new wines from all over the world, you can get wine from Spain, New Zealand, USA, Germany, Chile, France, Australia, Argentina, South Africa and Italy.

The BAR°N Wine Bar has a rack for customers to keep their unfinished wine with their names written on the rack. Customers can come back anytime to drink their wine.

The BAR°N Wine Bar is a cozy place with dim lights and very suitable for socializing. It was spacious and there were different types of seats and tables, some were tables with high chairs and some were comfortable sofas.

My children and I were there during lunch time and there was the salad bar and cream of carrot soup. The vegetables and fruits were very fresh and tasted great with the 3 different types of salad dressing - oriental dressing, apple vinaigrette dressing and smoked oyster dressing. The smoked oyster dressing was my favorite.

For appetizer, we ordered the Scandanivian Pork Meatballs (RM 18). The tender pork meatballs were ground finely and very tasty. My daughter loved this dish very much.

Since it was our first time dining at The BAR°N Wine Bar, we had a hard time deciding what to order. In the end, we chose the Meat Lovers Platter (RM 92) because it had a combination of crispy pork belly, grilled magro, dynamite chili chicken sausage, smoked chicken cheese sausage, chicken wings, luncheon fries & pork satay. This was the perfect plate for us to try out the different types of food in small portions.

The satay meat was very tender but the satay sauce was quite spicy. The crispy pork belly was my son's favorite because its skin was very crispy and delicious. The sausages tasted very good but a little too salty for me. The luncheon fries were soft and tasty while the chicken wings had me longing for more. Grilled magro was the best dish on the Meat Lovers Platter. It was a combination of lean and fat meat marinated and grilled to perfection. My children and I love the grilled magro so much that we will definitely come back for more. It is a highly recommended dish if you dine here.

Overall, my children and I enjoyed dining at The BAR°N Wine Bar because of the cozy ambience and delicious food. The price was quite reasonable too. If you are thinking of having a gathering with friends and family, do check out The BAR°N Wine Bar.

If you love to eat Indian food, you will definitely enjoy dining at Spice Garden because their authentic Indian and Middle-Eastern cuisines will tantalize your taste buds and spice up your life! Spice Garden uses traditional recipes that blends fresh spices and herbs from India and cooked to perfection, mostly through a "tandoor" which is a barrel-shaped open top clay oven that is fired by charcoals.

I tried some of the popular dishes at Spice Garden at The LINC and loved all the dishes. Chef Bharat Batra, the director of Focus 88 Sdn. Bhd., the company that owns and operates Spice Garden restaurants mentioned that they only use original spices and herbs without artificial coloring or perservatives. Their dishes are always freshly cooked and never reheated which can cause food to become oily. At Spice Garden, you will not need a knife to cut the meat because their meat is so tender &  soft. Some dishes take up to 6 hours to cook.

Tandoori Chicken is one of my favorite Indian dishes and this Tandoori Chicken marinated with herbs & spices, garlic & ginger was very tender and delicious! One piece is not enough for me.

It was my first time trying Venison Kebab and I really liked it because it had a very unique taste and aroma.

All the chefs at Spice Garden were sent to India for a year to master the knowledge, skills and techniques needed for the preparation of truly authentic, Indian and Middle-Eastern cuisines.

Chef Bharat explained that the dishes can be tailored to meet specific customers' needs such as preventing them from feeling sleepy after meals or to provide more energy. The pork-free cuisines can also be tailored to customers' preference such as nut-free, gluten-free and not too spicy.

Fish Koliwada as its name suggest originated from the streets of Koliwada, Mumbai, India. This dish is great for those who love to eat fish. This dish was soft, boneless sea bass cooked with spices and herbs with some tomato gravy.

I tried a very special dish, Khazana Biryani created by Chef Bharat Batra. This was cooked in whole wheat bread in charcoal tandoor which allows the heat to be evenly distributed. After it is cut open, I can smell the nice aroma of the Basmathi rice. The mutton was very succulent and juicy. Besides mutton, you can order chicken, fish, prawn or vegetable.

Clockwise from top left - Sea Bass Fish Curry, Venison Masala, Naans, Chicken Almond Gravy and Palak Paneer

My favorite was the Venison Masala because the texture of the meat was so tender  and soft. The sauce was very tasty and went well with the naan.

For dessert, I had Gulab Jamun which was nice but a little too sweet for me.

I was happy to be able to try these Indian and Middle-Eastern cuisines at Spice Garden. It  was very memorable and I will come back again.

My Hair Coloring And Scalp Treatment At E3 Salon Masjid Jamek

I love to go to E3 Salon Masjid Jamek, one of the best hair salons in Kuala Lumpur for my hair makeover and hair treatment because their hair stylists are very friendly and professional. A few days ago, I had my hair colored and did my scalp treatment. I brought my son along to get his hair cut there. He loves getting his hair cut and washed at E3 Salon Masjid Jamek.

This was how I looked before getting my hair dyed and the scalp treatment. My hair was a little oily and looked dull.

Neo, my hair stylist did a scan on my scalp and I noticed it was oily and clogged. Neo suggested to do the scalp treatment once a month to maintain healthy hair.

I started with my hair colored because I wanted a slightly different hair color and to cover my grey hair.

Waited for about half an hour before Neo started the scalp treatment. First, treatment cream was applied to my scalp and I felt a cool, minty sensation. I loved the fresh and cool feeling. Then both hair stylists, Neo and Olivia gave me a scalp massage which was very relaxing. I enjoyed the whole process.

After washing my hair, the hair stylist sprayed hair tonic on my scalp for a healthier scalp treatment.

I had my scalp scanned again to see the difference and I noticed that my scalp looked a lot cleaner.

After I got my hair blow dried and styled, this was how I looked.

My son had his hair washed and cut by Nana. He loves to get his hair cut here because he said the seats are very comfortable and the hair stylist cut his hair with great care.

My son getting his hair washed before his hair cut.

His hair cut session took about half an hour.

My son looking handsome after his hair cut here.

My family and I love to come to E3 Salon for our hair cut, hair makeover and hair treatment. Their service was very professional and the hair stylists are very friendly. We will definitely come back soon.
