Xinga Pot Food Review

If you love gathering with family and friends over hot pot, you should check out Xinga Pot at Uptown Damansara, Petaling Jaya. The restaurant can be seen easily along the main road. The interior decorations were mostly Hong Kong style theme and I love it a lot. This restaurant has a total of 3 floors. On the 1st floor, most of the tables are recommended for smaller groups around 4-5 pax with 1 larger table for 8-10 pax.

My family and I had a very delicious and sumptuous lunch here. We tried the Signature Golden Fish Tripe Chicken soup which was boiled for 8 hours with fish maw, collagen and chicken parts. The taste of this soup was really delicious and tasty without any unhealthy seasoning. The chicken meat was really tender and I loved the fish maw.

We had very fresh Tiger prawns, clams, Xinga Handmade Ramen, Chives dumpling, King Mushroom, thinly sliced Sakura Pork Collar and Xinga Combo which includes handmade Mushroom Pork Paste, Ebikko Prawn Paste, Truffle Prawn Paste and Chilli Cutterfish Fish Paste. I love the Mushroom Pork Paste the most because of the superb combination of mushroom and tasty pork. 

Some seafood such as Clam, Giga Mud Crab, Geoduck, Mantis Shrimp, Lobster and Alaska King Crab need to pre-order 1 day ahead.

On the 2nd floor, there are 4 private rooms with 3 smaller rooms (fitting up to 6 pax) and a mid-size room (fitting up to 10 pax) all equipped with karaoke system. These rooms are named after famous Hong Kong artists Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok, Leon Lai and Andy Lau. This is a great place for friends get together with some singing session while enjoying delicious hot pot food.

On the 3rd floor, there is an in-house bar which can fit up to 30 pax and a VIP room with karaoke system & private toilet which can fit up to 20 pax. This would be perfect for small functions and parties. Booking is required to avoid disappointment.

When we were there, we had Kaiice dessert on 3rd floor. The ice shaving ice-cream were delicious. There were 2 flavors, sorbet which was sour and sweet chocolate. To find out more about Kaiice, visit www.kaiice.com.

BLACKHEADS AND OILY SKIN TOP TEEN’S SKINCARE CONCERNS (New OXY Anti-Blackhead Gel is Gentle on the Skin Yet Effective in Combatting Blackheads)
