LEGOLAND® BRINGS ITS AWESOME HOLIDAY FUN TO THE KIDS IN HOSPITAL SULTAN ISMAIL JOHOR

LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort and LEGO® Malaysia teamed up to bring its awesome brand of fun and play to children in the pediatric ward in Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor. The kids of the palliative care unit at the pediatric ward – a special unit for kids suffering from serious illnesses – were treated to awesome, fun-filled LEGO® activities that were meant to stimulate their imaginations through play. These kids, who are not allowed to go home during the holiday seasons, received the ultimate holiday treat, as they were treated to building and colouring activities, singing and dancing performances and a special appearance by LEGO® Police costume character.

At LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort, we believe deeply that every kid deserves the right to play, and grow through play. This holiday season we wanted the children to have a great time and fully explore their imaginations through play even though they are unable to spend the holidays at home. We wanted them to forget their illness and just be kids once again, with no worries about treatment and pain. We felt compelled to bring the fun to them,” said Young Pil-Kim, General Manager (Interim) at LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort. 

Starting the visit with the LEGO® building activity, the children were challenged to a speed building activity where they were all given a LEGO® Christmas Set. The first five kids whom completed the activity won LEGO® sets and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort merchandise. Following the building activity, the children got to express their imagination through the colouring activity. Aside from the building and colouring activities, the children had fun decorating their very own jelly based on their creativity using healthy fruits.  Both LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort and LEGO® Malaysia worked hand-in-hand to sponsor various LEGO® sets and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort merchandise for the kids’ play area for them to continue building their imagination. The day was ended with various goodies, sponsored by LEGO® Malaysia and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort, were handed to all the children to enjoy.

Personally I think this is very good as it brings cheers to the less fortunate children so they can enjoy some fun building Lego bricks. Legoland has done a great job and I hope there will be more similar events in the future.

Cirque Panda Performance at Sunway Lagoon Amphiteatre

My family and I were blessed to be invited to watch the Cirque Panda performance at Sunway Lagoon Amphiteatre on the 6 Dec 2016. This is just the perfect timing since it's during the school holidays. This performance is all about amazing and thrilling acrobatic performances all the way from China. The China National Acrobatic Troupe performed jaw-dropping acrobatic performances.

Sunway Lagoon invited members of the media, event organisers, sales partners, corporate clients as a thank you gesture for their support. 

Audiences were entertained by various performances such as juggling, diabolo show, plate spinning, gymnastic, contortion acts and others.

Cirque Panda which is about 2 hours is here at Sunway Lagoon Amphitheatre from the 3 Dec - 11 Dec 2016. The show time is 8pm daily.

Miss World Prestige International Pageant 2016

I was very happy to be the privileged few to be invited to the Miss World Prestige International Pageant 2016 (WPI) on 28th November 2016 at Menara Hua Zong. This was my first time attending a beauty pageant to see the beautiful contestants on stage. It was such a glamorous night with great shows and performances while I enjoyed the delicious dinner.

There were a total of 16 finalists who competed for the titles and prizes. "The theme chosen was 'Beauty of Great Love' which is meant to make this world a better place. All the 16 finalists must possess three qualities of beauty such as outward appearance, inner beauty and social contribution to be qualified for the honorable title of Miss Prestige World International," says World Prestige International Honorary Advisor, Tan Kee Hock.

The 16 finalists of Miss Prestige World International Pageant 2016 showcase their amazing talents on stage. The 10 finalists chosen after the first round of introduction had to wear evening gowns and also perform a talent to impress the judges. The panel of judges include Mrs. Universe 2013 winner, Carol Lee, former Universe Malaysia 1st Runner Up winner, Pauline Tan, former Miss Yatching Model winner, Elvina Chua, former Miss Malaysia Chinese Cosmos winner, Stephanie Lee, On FM VJ, Jason Phang, Actor Luis Tan and World Champion of Harmonica, Kif Valentine.

The night was amazing and exciting as there were performances by dancers, singing choir 'Amazing Grace' by orphanges and live harmonica performance by World Champion of Harmonica.

To adapt to the theme of 'Beauty of Great Love', World Prestige International made donations to Charity Group to facilitate the developments of Malaysia's Beauty Industry. This Charity Group was established in 2014 to collect donations through WeChat and contributes the donations to Old Folks, Orphange Homes and Disability Homes. This is definitely a great way to contribute to the less fortunate. Eighty children from the Orphanage Homes were invited to this grand ceremony to enjoy the delicious dinner and were given gifts.

Hai-O Enterprise Berhad Managing Director, Tan Keng Kang said, "Women are inborn beauty and naturally charming, while health products serve as supporting role. There will always be a lacking without the pamper of health products by women". Health products boost metabolism, immune system and enhances women's complexion.

Dato' Lee Zong Ping mentioned that entrepreneurs are not patented to men, women are capable of becoming successful entrepreneurs too. This is certainly an encouraging message to all women out there.
