The First 20th Century Fox World Studio Store Opening at Resorts World Genting

21st April 2018 was the official opening of the first 20th Century Fox World Studio Store in the world. My children and I were happy and excited to be invited to attend this grand opening launch at level 2, Sky Avenue, Resorts World Genting. There was a huge crowd even the night before it opened. Can you believe that some people camped outside the store?

Photo credit to www.emily2u.com. There were many people who camped outside the store in their sleeping bags. Everyone was so excited!

There was mascots appearance from the characters of Rio and Ice Age and also a beautiful dance performance before the ribbon cutting ceremony. Children and adults were all so excited to take photos for remembrance.

Come here if you love to experience a whole new world of apparels, home decoration and souvenirs of favorite characters from blockbuster movies such as Ice Age, Planet of the Apes, Aliens vs. Predators, Robots, Rio, Epic, Night at the Museum and many more.

Lovely caps, bags, 3D stickers and umbrellas featuring Ice Age characters.

These mugs are so beautiful and colorful. You can get these only at this store.

Guests who attended this opening enjoyed the desserts, popcorn, cotton candy, ice-cream and fruits. Delicious cupcakes had the word 20th Century Fox World printed on it.

Watch my Youtube video below to see what happened on that day of the grand opening.

Do visit this 20th Century Fox World Studio store when you visit Resorts World Genting and get all those cute souvenirs and apparels. The store opening hours is from 10am to 10pm daily.

24-hours Food Trail at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting - Part 2

This is a continuation of my 24-hours Food Trail at Sky Avenue. To read my earlier (part 1) blog post, click HERE.

We visited Madame Waffle and was given their new Musang King Durian Gelato Creme Brulee Crepe. This is priced at RM 25.80. Since I don't eat durian, I gave it to my daughter to eat. She said it tasted very delicious.

Since Dream Color was nearby, we went there next. We were given very colorful drinks in bottles which really looked attractive. Some of these drinks tasted sour and some sweet. These drinks can really quench my thirst. I want to try more flavors the next time I visit Dream Color.

(From L-R) Dreamy Dragon, Mystery and Twilight

Gindaco sells very tasty and delicious Takoyaki which I think is the best. I tried the Ebimayo with their new prawn toppings. My daughter and I love to eat their Takoyaki because there is a big piece of octopus meat inside the cripsy ball.

If you love to drink healthy soup, you have got to try Ah Yip Herbal Soup. Over here, you can find many different types of healthy, nutritious and tasty soup. Soup nutrients can be easily absorbed by our body and can protect us against diseases.

(From L-R) Coconut Chicken Soup, Mushroom Fish Bladder Soup

NeNe means Yes Yes in Korean and NeNe Chicken offers crispy chicken coated with Bulgogi, Swicy and Freaking Hot. I think we were given the black sesame ice cream to cool our tongue after eating the Freaking Hot chicken because it was very spicy!

I Love Yoo! is located on 4th floor of Sky Avenue. We were served very delicious porridge, smooth Tao Foo Fa, soya bean drink and steam chicken. My children loved to eat their porridge. I liked the Tao Foo Fa because it was very smooth. However, the chicken was a little too salty for me.

Boat Noodle is Thai Street food known to serve its noodles in mini portions. These noodles can be ordered with fried chicken skin and fried wanton skin. Most people need to eat a few bowls before they can be full and after eating, they stack up the bowls.

Only Mee serves all types of noodles including Asam Laksa Penang, Curry Laksa Ipoh, Prawn Mee Penang, Tomyam mee and others. They have a choice for you to order mini portions of 4 different types of noodles you can choose if you like to try out more choices of noodles.

(Clockwise from top left) Green Curry Mee Thai, Curry Laksa Ipoh, Asam Laksa Penang and Prawn Mee Penang

Babajia is located on 1st floor of Sky Avenue and serves Baba Nyonya food. We ordered the Hokkien Mee and Ribena Lychee drink here. I have tried their Char Kway Teow, Bubur Cacar, Nyonya Laksa before during my first food trail last year. Those were very delicious. However, the Hokkien Mee was too salty for me and not that delicious.

Hokkien Mee and Ribena Lychee drink.

Dome was one of my favorite restaurants this time. We ordered the Tuscan pizza, Roasted Chicken in Mushroom Sauce and Salmon Steak

(From L-R) Roasted Chicken in Mushroom Sauce and Salmon Steak. Top left drink was Fluffy Koala diary milk filled with caramel and chocolate. Top right drink was mango fruit puree with yogurt blended until smoothies.

Both the Roasted Chicken in Mushroom Sauce and Salmon Steak were so delicious we finished all of it. The chicken meat was tender, fries were very crispy and the salmon was fresh and cooked to perfection.

The Tuscan pizza has mozzarella cheese topped with sliced pepperoni, red capsicum and black olives. This was my son's favorite because he loves to eat pepperoni pizzas and this was very delicious.

After our delicious meal at Dome, we went to Starbucks Reserve for some coffee tasting. We saw how coffee was brewed and tasted 2 types of coffee : Kenya Kamwangi and Guatemala Flor Del Rosario.

Butter cakes and dark chocolate was given so that we can taste the complementary flavors of the coffee. I learnt that Kenya Kamwangi complements butter and Guatemala Flor Del Rosario complements chocolate. Coffee lovers should head over to Starbucks Reserve to try these unique and rare coffee.

Texas Chicken is located on 4th floor of Sky Avenue. Texas Chicken is known for its delicious fried chicken and fries. The restaurant was very spacious with nice ambiance.

We had big juicy crispy chicken, fries topped with cheese and sour sauce, strawberry shortcake and ice lemon tea. There were many choices of drink and can be refilled for free.

JR Curry sells mixed rice, noodles, curry, fried chicken, prawns, fish and lots more. You can choose and mix whatever dishes you like.

Bar. B.Q. Plaza has been my family's favorite restaurant because my daughter loves to cook her own food. We had the Value Set which was good for 4 people. It is priced at RM 138.80. The food was delicious and we enjoyed cooking it.

Tokyo Secret let us try their new dessert - Syukurimu which was very crispy with almonds on the outside and creamy custard inside. I loved this dessert and want to have more.

The Eggette Lab is located at First World Plaza, level 2 opposite Snow World. It serves very delicious and crispy egglets with various flavors such as Golden Custard, Coffee Caramel, Green Tea, Chicken Floss, Charcoal Cheese and Tricolor. These are best eaten when hot because once its cold, it's not crispy anymore.

BMS Organics serve organic food without MSG, preservatives and harmful chemicals. Even though it serves vegetarian food, we loved it because the food tasted good.

We had BMS Soy Milk Curry Laksa Handmade Noodle which was quite tasty, Grilled BMS Chef's Burger and BMS Signature Nasi Lemak.

Richdad was the last of the 23 restaurants we dined in. We wanted to try something different and ordered the Baby Lobster Butter Sauce which was priced at RM 30.00. The lobster tasted good and the butter rice was very tasty as well. We had Ribena Lychee drink to go with it.

That ends my family's 24-hours food trail at 23 restaurants / F&B outlets at Sky Avenue, Resorts World Genting. We were very happy to try out these food and went home with a full stomach. Thanks for having us there.
