3G Food Gallery Review

My children and I were at 3G Food Gallery a few days ago to try their delicious Western & Asian cuisine. The restaurant is located at A-6-G Jalan C180/1, Dataran C180, Cheras Selatan. (same row with CIMB Bank) There is ample parking lots but it could get crowded during lunch or dinner time. I usually go to this area for steamboats but this restaurant serves delicious food I can't forget.

The restaurant's name 3G stands for Good Quality, Good Food and Good Service. The restaurant is spacious with comfortable seats and can serve up to 60 people. There are some nice decorations and pictures on the walls. 3G Food Gallery specializes in western cuisine by serving dishes made by themselves from the start till the end. The boss goes to the market to pick the freshest food and fruits daily to make sure the food is fresh. It's a cozy place to hang out with friends and family.

The most popular dish is the Signature Crispy Deep Fried Luzon Pork Knuckle - RM48.90 which is very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is served with homemade pickled shallot Thai sauce and Thai sauce. The pork knuckle size is really big and weighs about 1.5kg. This is suitable for about 4 people. You need to try this if you eat here because it's too good to be missed.

We were served with their mushroom soup -  RM9.90. This mushroom soup has 4 different types of mushroom (King Oyster mushroom, Shiitake mushroom, Abalone mushroom and Golden mushroom) chopped finely and cooked to perfection. It is different from the tin, processed mushroom soup we usually have. When I put this soup into my mouth, I could taste the delicious and fresh mushrooms. My daughter loves this soup because she loves to eat mushrooms.

Next, we were served with 2 different types of pastas. Pasta Al'Funghi (non-spicy type) - RM14.90 and Home Made Pork Meatball Bolognese - RM16.90. Pasta Al'Funghi tasted more creamy, cheesy and more salty. The Home Made Pork Meatball was very delicious, tasty and soft.

The other Western dish that we had was Grilled Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce - RM18.90. The grilled chicken was very tender, cooked to perfection and went well with the thick, mushroom sauce. The salad was very fresh and the fries tasted great.

The Krap! Krap! Chicken burger - RM16.90 was fried chicken with tomatoes, cucumber, cheese and tomato sauce with 2 pieces of bread. The side dishes were salad and fries. The crunchy chicken was quite big and filling.

The Golden Fried Crispy Spring Chicken - RM18.90, was my son's favorite dish. The chicken was well marinated and it tasted really delicious even without adding any sauce. The meat was tender and soft. Some parts of the chicken skin was crispy.

Honey Grilled Pork Chop Burger - RM19.90 was my favourite and also one of 3G Food Gallery's signature dishes. This was my favorite because I loved the taste of honey grilled pork chop. It was sweet, tender and really yummy, one of the best I have tried so far.

The Grilled Lamb Shoulder - RM29.90 was tender and delicious. Goes well with the mushroom sauce and you will want more after your first bite.

Connie's Special Pork Chop - RM 27.90. The sauce on the pork chop was a little too salty for me but I liked the mash potato and its gravy.

Grilled Salmon with Special Homemade Sauce - RM 28.90. This salmon skin was very crispy and the salmon was very fresh. I liked this very much.

3G Food Gallery also serves Hot Pots (Seafood :RM 18.00, Chicken: RM 14.00, Pork: RM 15.00, Vegetable: RM 12.00)

This is the Taiwainese Sha Cha. The soup was very tasty and the mushrooms were very fresh.

The Japanese Cheesy Milk Hot Pot was very special and the melted cheese made it taste even creamier.

The Chinese Ma La was very spicy and hot. Great for those who love spicy food.
