Zoo Moo's Big Day Out at The Parenthood, Sunway Pyramid

Last Saturday, I brought my children to Zoo Moo's Big Day Out at The Parenthood, Sunway Pyramid. The Parenthood Playland is where children can have fun with the slides, swings, climbing and other fun activities. There is another outlet at Sunway Putra Mall.

While the children were busy playing, parents were in a room listening to the Zoo Moo's Big Day Out sharing session. Zoo Moo is the world's first fully interactive TV network devoted entirely to the Animal World. The Zoo Moo tv channel is on Astro 619 which has puppets, cartoons, games, music, puzzles and activities design to create a unique television and educational experience for young children. The Zoo Moo's Big Day Out discussion was on child development and how to balance children's digital exposure. Aishah Sinclair, Dr. Shen-Li Lee and General Manager of Zoo Moo Network, Catherine Nebauer gave us some advice and their experience on how to let children have fun watching TV, playing iPad educational games and also have children go outdoors and balance their daily activities. It was a great learning experience for parents who attended this sharing session.

There were lucky draws for parent who attended Zoo Moo's Big Day Out and lucky winners won RM1,000 worth of Zoo Moo products and 5 times entrance to The Parenthood Playland.

We proceeded to have lunch at Lillipilli Cafe just beside the playland. There were lots of beautifully decorated cupcakes, cookies, fried calamari, rojak, fried rice, pasta, pizza and hot dogs. The food tasted really delicious and I liked the fried calamari the most.

After the delicious lunch, the children had fun making puppets and folding origami rabbits and butterflies.

There were Zoo Moo mascots, Latif the Lion and Ninja Gorilla to educate children by asking questions about animals and playing guess the animal picture. My children and I learnt a lot about animals. Well, does anyone know what animal lays the biggest egg? Most people guessed ostrich but the correct answer is shark.

Guess the animal in the picture game.

My children continued to play until 5pm. They really enjoyed themselves. If you want to bring your children here, visit The Parenthood Facebook HERE or The Parenthood website HERE for more information.
